What I'm Looking For
Your Story: Women of any age, background, or experience who want to share their unique perspective on what it means to be a woman in today's world.
Your Image: High-resolution headshot photographs that capture you authentically - whether that's a professional headshot or a well-lit personal portrait focusing on your face and expression.
Your Voice: A brief written statement (100-300 words) reflecting on your personal experience of womanhood - your challenges, triumphs, hopes, or insights.
The Process
Selected participants will have their portraits rendered in oil paint, creating lasting artwork that honors both individual stories and collective experiences. Each painting will be accompanied by excerpts from your statement, creating a powerful combination of visual and written testimony.
This collection will be displayed in various galleries, providing a platform to share women's diverse experiences with broader audiences.
What You'll Receive
Participants will receive:
A high-resolution digital copy of their completed oil painting
A print release form allowing you to create personal prints for your own use
Please note: Participants will not receive the original painting or any monetary compensation from sales of the artwork. The original paintings will remain with the artist for gallery exhibitions and potential sales.
